This innovative tray is specially designed in the shape of a cloverleaf to enhance the presentation of your cheeses.

Both practical and attractive, it offers an eye-catching touch of originality on the shelf, while guaranteeing optimal preservation.

1 Identifying customer needs and constraints

- The product to be packaged: its range, its use, its characteristics, who the end user is (e.g. cheeses of a certain size or shape, place of the label on the product, additional markings, etc.).
Analysis of products already on the market, including a moodboard with the advantages and disadvantages of each one
Finally, our design department creates personas to better understand end-users.

2 Pre-study and eco-design

On the basis of this initial analysis, the design department then draws up various proposals/scenarios in the form of sketches with different inspirations in line with customer expectations and the product’s end use.

A presentation is then made to the customer with all the proposals, their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages.

We can advise you on the materials to be used in series production.

3 Mock-up / prototyping

Once the proofs have been validated, our design office teams start by creating a 3D drawing to manufacture the molds in-house, which will be used to transform the material into finished products.

Once this stage has been validated with the customer, we launch the production of prototypes.

Once the prototype has been produced, it is sent to the customer for final validation.

4 Tool creation

Thanks to our integrated tool shop, dedicated to the design, manufacture, finishing and maintenance of our production tools.

Using our expertise and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) files, we design and manufacture customized prototype and production molds, as well as peripheral accessories (mold holders, stackers, frames, custom sealing tools) to meet customer requirements.

5 Production

Once the prototype has been validated, it’s time to launch production, which will be controlled from A to Z by our quality department, according to strict rules. You can view our various certifications in the Quality Management tab (link to page).

The customer is kept informed throughout the entire process.

6 Co-packing

Velfor Groupe, an expert in custom packaging, offers extensive, made-to-measure co-packing solutions: flowpack, blister pack, all-cardboard blister pack (carton’pack), wallet card (cardboard + plastic), sachets, shrink-wrapping, kits, labeling…

We receive the products to be packaged, and manage and source the components (labels, cardboard boxes, etc.). We pack the product inside, inserting the instructions for delivery to the point of sale.
