The Velfor Group, based in Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon, specializes in the world of packaging and the manufacture of technical parts in plastic materials. It comprises 8 subsidiaries and employs 280 people.

Today, as part of a long-term replacement, the company is looking for a: Project Manager – Design Office (M/F) for its Packaging subsidiary.

 

Main missions

You will be working for two distinct activities within the same entity:

  • Packaging of products supplied by our customers,
  • Cleanroom manufacturing and packaging of medical devices.

Your main tasks will involve :

Studying customer requests and drawing up quotations

  • Working with the sales department, design office and production, you analyze customer requests and propose appropriate, optimized technical solutions.
  • You draw up quotations in line with customer requirements, and liaise with suppliers and design offices, including for the tooling needed to manufacture new products.

 

Project management

  • You manage development projects right through to production start-up, and are responsible for meeting deadlines, specifications and quality standards. As such, you coordinate the various players involved: customers, sales, design office, production, quality.
  • You monitor the implementation of tooling in conjunction with the design office and production.
  • You participate in the industrialization of new products

Les connaissances techniques

Profile

  • You must have initial experience in project management in the plastics industry.
  • You are familiar with ISO 13485.
  • You speak English.
  • Ideally, you are proficient in SolidWorks software.
  • Finally, you are structured and rigorous, and have demonstrated your ability to work cross-functionally and mobilize different players around a single objective.
