This Friday, September 14, 2018, members of MEDEF Haute-Loire and local elected officials took part in an open day at the Group’s 3 subsidiaries located in Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon.
After a warm welcome, tours of the three sites were conducted in small groups. They presented the new facilities at each of the three entities, in particular the extension for raw materials storage and the reorganization of flows at Velfor Emballage, the new Twin Sheet machine at Velfor Industrie, and the building extension at Velfor Conditionnement. MEDEF members and elected representatives were also able to discover or rediscover our integrated machining center and all its latest features, such as the new DMF 180 5-axis machining center.
These visits enabled all participants to appreciate the breadth of our techniques and know-how, as well as to discover the new strategic directions the Group is taking. Indeed, the Group’s new strategic objective is to strengthen its presence in the healthcare sector, where Velfor has been present for over 30 years. This means offering a more diversified range of solutions. The Group is also committed to providing an appropriate response to cleanliness requirements, notably through the production of packaging items in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms. The extension of the Velfor Conditionnement site is part of this strategy, and will ultimately enable the company to significantly increase its presence in the healthcare market.
