Velfor exhibited at Midest 2019 in Lyon

The Velfor Group took part in Midest from March 05 to 08, 2019. The show was part of Global Industrie, which brings together the 4 main French industrial trade fairs:

– Industrie, the show for production technologies and equipment

– Tolexpo, the 100% trade show for sheet metal, tubes and profiles

– Smart Industrie, the show for connected, collaborative and efficient industry

– Midest, the international trade fair for industrial subcontracting know-how, in which we took part at Stand 5 E113, as part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region CCI collective.

This show was an opportunity to present both our new parts and our technical innovations. At Midest 2019, we presented our new products for the automotive, civil engineering, HVAC, robotics and materials handling markets. This is how you were able to discover or rediscover our protection and appearance parts for the transport industry (body parts, bus mirrors, seat covers…), our handling and transport platforms, our slab molds for construction and civil engineering, our air conditioning turrets…

We also presented a preview of our latest technical innovations. For example, we showcased thick thermoforming with undercutting. This new know-how enables us to offer you larger, more functional and more complex thick thermoformed parts. This new technology brings real added value to the use of the part. Among other things, it makes parts easier to grip, and gives them more rounded and/or designer shapes.

A look back at Pharmapack 2019

The Velfor Group took part in the Pharmapack 2019 trade show in Paris on February 6 and 7. This show is a benchmark in the healthcare sector. Indeed, it is entirely dedicated to packaging innovation for the pharmaceutical industry and drug delivery systems. The 2019 edition attracted nearly 400 exhibitors and 5,300 visitors from over 100 countries.

For the Velfor Group, this exhibition was an opportunity to showcase its expertise in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. We presented our new products(trays, blisters, pouches, etc.). The show also marked the reinforcement of our new strategy, focused on increasing production in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms.

We look forward to seeing you at Medica Compamed in Düsseldorf from November 18 to 21, 2019. Then, join us from February 5 to 6, 2020 for the next edition of Pharmapack (stand N°A62).

Velfor at CFIA from March 12 to 14, 2019

The Velfor group will be exhibiting at CFIA (Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire) from March 12 to 14, 2019 in Rennes. This show is a major event, entirely dedicated to the agrifood market. Its aim is to bring together all French and international food manufacturers. For the past 22 years, the CFIA has brought together over 1,600 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors over the 3 days of the show. The show will feature exhibitors in 10 halls, divided into 3 areas of activity:

– Ingredients and IAPs (Hall 4)

– Equipment and Processes (Halls 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8)

– Packaging (Hall 9, 10a and 10b), a sector in which we will be exhibiting in Hall 9, stand B45.

For the Velfor Group, this 2019 edition will be an opportunity to strengthen its presence in the agri-food sector. In fact, we have chosen to significantly increase our stand area, from 12 to 18 m². This will enable us to present more products and all our new products on a stand that has been completely refurbished for 2019.

Velfor at MIDEST Lyon, March 5-8, 2019

The Velfor Group is committed to developing the industrial and appearance parts market. With this development in mind, the group is taking part for the first time in the MIDEST trade show in Lyon from March 5 to 8, 2019. We will be present on stand 5E113, as part of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes CCI collective, a region in which we have a strong presence.

This show will enable us to exhibit both our parts and our new know-how.

Our industrial facilities enable us to meet our customers’ needs as closely as possible. We have the capacity to thermoform parts, by coil or sheet, up to 1400 x 2400 x 10 mm thick. We also have the capacity to develop sub-assemblies combining the rigid and the flexible (by high-frequency welding). This enables us to meet the needs of the automotive, HVAC, civil engineering, electronics, robotics and materials handling markets. Three subsidiaries, Velfor Industrie, Creaplast and Lider, are entirely dedicated to these sectors.

In addition, Velfor Industrie now offers larger, more functional and more complex thermoformed parts. This new technology brings real added value to the use of the part. Among other things, it makes parts easier to grip, and gives them more rounded and/or designer shapes…

All4Pack 2018, another successful show for the Velfor Group

The Velfor Group participated as an exhibitor at the All4Pack trade show in Paris from November 26 to 29, 2018. This trade show is a benchmark in the packaging industry. Indeed, more than 1,200 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors took part in the show. For the Velfor Group, the 2018 edition was a success, with visitors flocking to meet us throughout the four days of exhibition at All4Pack.

We were able to present our strategic multi-market positioning, showcasing our solutions for the food, retail, healthcare, capital goods andtransportation industries… Visitors were also able to appreciate our new products, as well as all our flagship products. We also unveiled our new technical and technological acquisitions, such as the 5-axis machining center and Twin Sheet technology. This new manufacturing process enables us to produce complex, high-precision hollow-body parts (tubs, containers, cabin roofs, trunk fittings, sailboards, seats, etc.).

This year, we also highlighted the circular economy to which the Velfor Group subscribes. For over 30 years, Velfor has been committed to supporting the local economy. That’s why we give priority to working with local partners and suppliers.

Velfor took part in Medica Compamed 2018

To develop its export presence, the Velfor Group participated as an exhibitor at the Medica Compamed international trade fair. This is the benchmark trade show for the medical industry, which took place from November 12 to 15, 2018. Over the four days, 120,000 people visited Medica Compamed. Around two-thirds were international, representing 155 different countries. There were also more than 5,800 exhibitors from 66 different countries, spread over 16 halls. Located in the French Pavilion under the Business France banner, we enjoyed maximum visibility.

In a stand refurbished for the occasion, we showcased our new products (blood bags, urine bags, dialysis bags, blisters for implants, trays for surgical instruments, transport trays…). We were also able to present our new cleanrooms to the many visitors who attended the show. This acquisition enables us to diversify our solutions and better meet the needs of today’s highly competitive healthcare market.

The Velfor Group is taking part in the Medica Compamed international trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 12 to 15, 2018. This participation is part of the deployment of the group’s new strategy. It is focused on gaining momentum in the healthcare sector and developing exports.

This trade show is the world’s leading event for the medical sector. Every year, Medica Compamed brings together healthcare professionals, suppliers and manufacturers of medical technology and packaging.

MEDEF and elected representatives visit the Velfor group

This Friday, September 14, 2018, members of MEDEF Haute-Loire and local elected officials took part in an open day at the Group’s 3 subsidiaries located in Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon.

After a warm welcome, tours of the three sites were conducted in small groups. They presented the new facilities at each of the three entities, in particular the extension for raw materials storage and the reorganization of flows at Velfor Emballage, the new Twin Sheet machine at Velfor Industrie, and the building extension at Velfor Conditionnement. MEDEF members and elected representatives were also able to discover or rediscover our integrated machining center and all its latest features, such as the new DMF 180 5-axis machining center.

These visits enabled all participants to appreciate the breadth of our techniques and know-how, as well as to discover the new strategic directions the Group is taking. Indeed, the Group’s new strategic objective is to strengthen its presence in the healthcare sector, where Velfor has been present for over 30 years. This means offering a more diversified range of solutions. The Group is also committed to providing an appropriate response to cleanliness requirements, notably through the production of packaging items in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms. The extension of the Velfor Conditionnement site is part of this strategy, and will ultimately enable the company to significantly increase its presence in the healthcare market.

Velfor steps up its presence at trade shows

Following the success of the 2016 edition, which brought together nearly 1,500 exhibitors and 87,800 visitors, the Velfor Group is renewing its participation at All4Pack in Paris from November 26 to 29, 2018.
